Ingredients
- 1 long French baguette
- 8 oz smoked salmon
- 7 oz GrünesLand cream cheese
- 2 tablespoons sour cream
- 2 tablespoons fresh dill
- parsley or dill for garnish
Getting it done:
-
Step 1
Slice bread into 1/3” thick slices.
-
Step 2
In a small bowl, combine the spread ingredients: 7 oz GrünesLand cream cheese, 2 tbsp sour cream and 2 tbsp freshly chopped dill. Mash it all together with a fork.
-
Step 3
Spread about 1 tsp of the cream cheese mix over each bread slice. Top with a piece of salmon and garnish with fresh parsley.
-
Step 4
When stacking, be sure to place a layer of plastic wrap in between to prevent the top bread from becoming damp. Savor it immediately or store in the refrigerator until you're ready to indulge.
-
Note
If you want some extra crispiness or have slightly stale bread on hand, simply brush it with melted butter and toast in the oven at 350°F for around 5 minutes or until the edges have just begun to turn golden. The bread's center should remain soft and tender.
